It is a message I feel compelled to share now more than ever, as reading it again after all these months makes even more sense. Then, when I wrote it, it was more of obedience to God’s leading, for our business had hardly taken off. Now, the business has really taken root, with such fantastic ratings on such sites as Trip advisor, where our restaurant has been ranked at number 1 both in the city of Gloucester and county of Gloucestershire for over 3 months running.

This has increased the number of people coming to us, so that where last year at a time like this we served about 10-30 per week, we now have between 80-100 people coming through oursss doors weekly! Not to mention the number of people we have regrettably turned away especially over the weekend as our dining space is only small. We stand amazed at our great and awesome God, for we know it is all His doing.

He gives us the grace to keep going week after week, and continues to reinforce to us the very reason we are here, for just last month as we hosted a King’s Daughters Girl’s Night, (www.kingsdaughters21.co.uk) we witnessed someone start their new journey discovering who they really are as a child of God.It continues to be a learning journey for us as a family, even as we carry on passing the message of love as part of the body of Christ to the world we have been placed in. ‘Church without walls’ has taken a whole new meaning for us, as Charlie and I give ourselves to serve and love all of the guests that pay us a visit at the restaurant.

Our aim never was, and never will be to convert people to our Christian faith (only the Holy Spirit can do that), we just offer ourselves to touch people’s lives in the way we know best how. And what a blessing it’s been! We’ve got to meet such lovely people, some of whom we now call friends. Reading the messages sent via email, cards, Facebook, twitter as well as the reviews that have been written in various places greatly warms our hearts and makes all the hard work we put in so worthwhile! We are thankful as we are also able to start sorting our financial situation, and we eagerly look forward to the day we owe no man nothing but love!I hope the book inspires each and every person that reads it to know that with God truly nothing shall be impossible, and that He will do whatever it takes to raise and send His children out to bring forth the harvest.

For out in the fields is where we that are of the household of God really ought to be, labouring in our Fathers vineyard. In His love,Wanja Odhiambo
